WHY DO I NEED MYOSKELETAL ALIGNMENT?
Neck and back pains usually occur as a result of two problems: tight shortened muscles that give rise to lack of symmetry in the skeletal system, and weak inhibited muscles that aggravate it. The result is a chronic pain cycle, which gradually begin to involve other structures, tissues and muscles within the system. The Upper Crossed Syndrome - resulting in forward head, shoulder elevation and rounding; and the Lower Cross Syndrome - involving excessive or inadequate curvature and tilted pelvis, are the two most common postural faults found in today’s society. Paul Kelly - BS, CSCS, CPT, LMT
In 1999, Paul met Erik Dalton, founder of Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques®, in Nashville, TN. He attended a continuing education workshop with Erik and was fascinated by Erik’s passion for understanding the human condition and how to restore its proper musculoskeletal balance. Paul started to mentor with Erik and soon was teaching with him across the nation.
Paul’s passion for knowledge in human performance related issues has propelled him forward giving him the opportunity to work with Olympic Gymnasts, NFL players, The PGA, marathon runners and National Competitive Bodybuilders.
